Pandanon Island is found in the northern part of Bohol in the Philippines. It is one of Getafe (Jetafe), Bohol’s political barangays. The island has gradually gained popularity because of its natural white sand that extends into the sea. Because of its shallow area, Pandanon Island is not a good place for snorkeling or diving but it is one of the best family oriented places. It is a tourist destination in the Visayas.
Pandanon Island was just recently opened to the public. It is 70-80 minutes away from Mactan Island, Cebu and 20-30 minutes away from Getafe, Bohol. Local outrigger and motorized boats from any point in Mactan and beach resorts such as Marigondon, Agus or Maribago, and the port near Hilton Hotel can reach Pandanon Island. Prices of motorized boats starts at P3,500 for a 30-person sized boat but the prices will vary depending on the season and boat size.

Pandanon Island has an estimated population of 2000; most houses are found in one area of the island in about 20 minutes walking distance from the beach. The major occupation is fishing and selling accessories made from shells. The entrance fee is P150 per person but if you go in groups you can get a discounted price of P100. Rental of natural cogon cottages are at P250.
The island is perfect for family swimming and looking for sea shells on the sea shore. The sandbar that extends 1km away from the main island is a good place to drink the beers with friends. There is a church (that seems like a big chapel) which stand in the middle of the island which is open for wedding events and vigils. Food preparation can be outsourced to locals and boatmen at a very minimum price. They can prepare the barbeque and fruits at world-class style.
Pandanon Island is a paradise but it doesn’t compete to Bantayan and Malapascua Island yet. Bring your friends and family at Pandanon and enjoy the island.

How much is the cost for a room for two and just a day use?

I am very sorry, I don’t have any idea about the room rates. But I think a ballpark figure should be about P2000-P3000 (good for two).
