Quezon Park Dumaguete

One of the best ways to spend a stroll with your family and friends when in Dumaguete is at Quezon Park. It is a relaxing place, surrounded by lush greeneries of plants, bushes and trees located in the city center across the historic Dumaguete Cathedral and Bell Tower.

Because of Quezon Park’s strategic location, children come here very often to play at the grass or at the playground recently developed by the City Government. The park is about 1.5 hectares and it is one of the few parks in the Philippines which are maintained regularly. The Dumaguete Tourism Office is located on one side of the Quezon Park. This is where local and foreign tourists ask for assistance when it comes to traveling around this amazing province. An old fire truck, cannons, modern-style gazebo and statues of Rizal and Maria Clara are some of the things that can be found within the park.

How to get there

From Dumaguete Aiport in Sibulan, take a taxi or tricycle going directly to Perdices St. Tell the driver to go to the Bell Tower or Cathedral because some folks don’t know the park’s name.

It’s a short 10-15 minute walk from Dumaguete Port. Walk along Rizal Boulevard then turn right at the corner after Shakey’s Pizza.
